What is a Supper Club?
Supper Club is an opportunity for parishioners to get to know one another better, in settings off-campus. Groups composed of 8 adults meet 1x/month over a 4-month period (typically sharing a meal together in each other’s homes).
How are groups formed & meetings scheduled?
Supper Club sessions happen in the spring & fall. There will be a sign-up window for each session in January & July. Following the sign-up window, groups will be assigned by coordinators, and an initial meeting will take place after a Mass for group members to meet one another, share contact information, and begin planning their first gathering. From there, individual groups choose the dates/times/locations that work best for their monthly gatherings.
How does each “Supper” work?
Typically, group members will take turns hosting a monthly potluck supper in their home. The host provides the entrée and beverages, while the other group members bring side dishes and dessert. (But “suppers” are up to each group, so if morning coffee in the park is best for all, go for it!)
How do I sign up? Questions?
Register here through January 25 to join our Spring Supper Club (March-June). Mark your calendar to attend a meeting after Mass on February 8 at either 10:30am or 12:30pm in Fr. Dowling Hall to get your Supper Club assignment. For questions contact Linda or Al Black.
