We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to help at the parish office (somewhere between 3-5 days a week).  Position description and next steps below.

Position Summary

  • Position will provide personalized secretarial and administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner.  

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides secretarial and clerical support for staff. 
  • Answer phone calls and emails.
  • Take notes at meetings as needed.
  • Draft correspondence such as emails and letters.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

  • Must be computer literate and have experience using copiers and other office equipment
  • Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.) required
  • Must have proficient typing skills

Skills & Attitudes Required for Success in Job

  • General knowledge and support of the Catholic Church, Catholic sacraments, Catholic rites and liturgies.
  • Must have well-developed “people skills” in interacting with all who come to the parish office
  • Must have ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality in all matters
  • Must be willing to work a sometimes-flexible schedule
