We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to help at the parish office (somewhere between 3-5 days a week). Position description and next steps below.
Position Summary
- Position will provide personalized secretarial and administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides secretarial and clerical support for staff.
- Answer phone calls and emails.
- Take notes at meetings as needed.
- Draft correspondence such as emails and letters.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Experience Requirements
- Must be computer literate and have experience using copiers and other office equipment
- Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.) required
- Must have proficient typing skills

- General knowledge and support of the Catholic Church, Catholic sacraments, Catholic rites and liturgies.
- Must have well-developed “people skills” in interacting with all who come to the parish office
- Must have ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality in all matters
- Must be willing to work a sometimes-flexible schedule
