Blessed Advent to you!
Over 2,000 years ago Jesus came to us as a tiny infant, born in poverty in Bethlehem. One day, Christ will come again in glory. In this holy season of Advent, we prepare for all the ways he would come to us now. Below are some of the many opportunities available these important Advent days to help us ready our minds and hearts.

Reading material to take home – Advent reading material is available in the back of church for anyone who would like to take it home with them. We have separate books for children, families, and adults (plus a Spanish version as well). Take any that are of interest to you.

When & where is it? Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 5-8pm in Father Dowling Hall.
What is it? This women only event helps us remember to savor the blessings within the Advent season. A group of friends/family (maximum of 8 women per table) bring tableware, decorations, and food for your table. Most Sacred Heart provides the fellowship, music, and Advent presentation. Together we will laugh, share, eat, and be encouraged to remember what the season of Advent invites us to do – prepare our hearts for the birth of Jesus in the world today. All women aged 21+ are welcome!
What to expect? Doors open at 4:30pm. Welcome & housekeeping at 5:00pm. Pastor’s prayer at 5:10pm. Friendship, appetizers, & entree shared at 5:15pm. Transition to Church at 6:00pm. Advent presentation at 6:15pm. Transition back to FDH at 7:15pm. Dessert at 7:25pm. Closing remarks and clean up at 8pm.
How to register? Choose to register as a hostess (for an entire table of a maximum of 8 women) or choose to register as an individual and we will place you at a table with others. (If you register as a hostess, please let the women at your table know they do not need to register themselves.)
