Baptism Coordination

This ministry aims to welcome new families and children into the parish and into God’s family through the Sacrament of Baptism, and to partner with parents so they may embrace their role as their child’s primary faith educator. The team works closely with the parish office and clergy to ensure that families are registered, parents receive their training, and the baptism is scheduled. Volunteers serve as catechists: adults who enjoy working with families and sharing their faith by leading baptism classes with the parents; and as coordinators: adults who are organized and administrative and can follow the families through the baptism process of classes, paperwork, registration and scheduling.
